Photo Gallery – Granite Vanities
Though smaller in scope than kitchen countertops, vanities can play an important role in the overall look and feel of your home.
Bathroom vanities can come in many cabinet styles. Here is a breakdown of a few of the more popular styles:
Cabinet Style Vanity Cabinets
Cabinet style is by far the most readily available, and cost effective style of vanity you’ll come across at your local “Big Box” home improvement center or retailer. They are available in a wide variety of sizes, styles and a wise investment if you are planning to sell your house in the future.
Furniture Style Vanity Cabinets
A furniture style vanity is another great option if you are only planning to swap out the existing piece. These type of vanities tend to be slightly smaller than cabinets, are also available in a wide variety of styles and sizes and freestanding, meaning they won’t take up as much space in a potentially cramped bathroom.
Vessel Style Vanity Cabinets
A vessel, or pedestal vanity features a freestanding porcelain base and the sink itself. It doesn’t provide any storage options, but is an ideal choice for a powder room or any other bathroom with a limited amount of space.
