Selecting Your Countertop Edge Profile

When selecting your edge, there are a few things you may want to consider when selecting your edge finish treatment. We have collected a few items below to help you choose the edge that is right for you and your home.

Your Overall Design Aesthetic

Are you going for a more modern look, or are you considering a more overall classic feel to keep with the rest of your current home’s design? The finished edge you choose can perfectly compliment your final design. The edges depicted above are considered standard edges because of the ease of fabrication time and less detailed finishing they take to complete. These edges offer a more modern or contemporary look that does not detract from the overal design aesthetic. These edges are perfect for the current trend of “Minimalism”.

Demi Edge

By far our most popular edge, the Demi is used to really showcase the thickness the 3CM material by using a larger radius that sweeps towards the termination point.

Eased/Flat Edge

Considered by many to be the epitome of Modern Minimal Design.

Full Bullnose Edge

Finished on top and bottom, the Full Bull edge softens any stone to bring a nice, easy-looking touch to any countertop.

Half Bullnose Edge

Another popular edge for those not looking to have sharp edges and have less chance of chipping. The Half bull is rounded on top and finishes straight toward the floor.
